Marinated Cucumber Salad Recipe
Ingredients:
-1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
-1 large cucumber, thinly sliced
-2 green onions, thinly sliced
-1 teaspoon salt
-1/4 teaspoon black pepper
-1 teaspoon sugar
-1/4 cup water
-2 tablespoons olive oil
-2 tablespoons vinegar (white wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar work well)
Instructions:
1. Combine the cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices, and green onions in a large bowl.
2. Mix the salt, black pepper, sugar, water, olive oil, and vinegar in a small bowl until the sugar is dissolved.
3. Pour the dressing over the vegetables in a large bowl. Toss gently to ensure all the vegetables are coated with the marinade.
4. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 4 hours to allow the flavors to meld together. You can also marinate it longer if you prefer a more robust flavor.
5. Give the salad a gentle stir before serving. It can be served chilled as a refreshing side dish. Enjoy!
Note: Feel free to adjust the seasonings according to your taste preferences. You can also add herbs like dill or parsley for added flavor if desired.
