Nacho Salsa

Enjoy your delicious and easy Nacho Salsa made with Desert Harvest freshly harvested ingredients!

Ingredients:

– 4 medium Desert Harvest Tomatoes, chopped

– 1/2 Desert Harvest Onion, roughly chopped

– 1 Jalapeño pepper, seeded and roughly chopped

– 2 tbsp Desert Harvest Cilantro, chopped

– 1 tbsp tomato paste

– 1/2 tsp salt

– 1/4 tsp black pepper

Directions:

– Add the chopped Desert Harvest Tomatoes, roughly chopped Desert Harvest Onion, seeded and roughly chopped Jalapeño pepper, and chopped Desert Harvest Cilantro to a blender.

– Add the tomato paste to the blender, and season the mixture with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.

– Pulse the blender a few times to break up the larger chunks, then blend on high speed until the salsa is smooth and well combined.

– Stop the blender and taste the salsa. Adjust the seasoning as necessary.

– Pour the salsa into a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

– Serve the Nacho Salsa with your favorite tortilla chips, on tacos or nachos, or as a topping for grilled chicken or fish.
